Hot Since 82 continues to push the envelope on latest Mexico tour mini-documentary
Hot Since 82 has always felt the need to dig deeper in his house music.
While pushing the boundaries of the electronic music scene and managing his imprint Knee Deep In Sound, the British artist has carved a magnificent path for himself along the way. Unsurprisingly, the artist’s new touring concept is no different. Dubbed “Even Deeper,” the new concept sees the Yorkshireman forming a relationship and getting more in tune with each and every environment he’s playing in.
Currently in the midst of his Labyrinth residency at Pacha Ibiza — while also finding time to bring his eclectic performances to New York, Los Angeles, and multiple European locations over the course of the next few months — the artist has found a way to dig even deeper by slowing down his tour and enjoying each and every moment along the way.
These moments are being crafted into mini short-form documentaries, giving a real sense of what can happen when you take the time to enjoy the little things. It is with that the artist presents the first such film, which was shot during his February / March 2017 tour of Mexico.
The latest documentary is a refreshing take on a format that has been mundane and misused by many, allowing Hot Since 82 to open up about politics, the horrific incident at the BPM festival, and offer up his perspectives on life, DJing, and more.
Stay tuned for more episodes offering a glimpse behind the scenes of future Even Deeper shows.
