LCD Soundsystem expands North American tour dates alongside forthcoming record ‘American Dream’

Fresh off two riveting festival performances at Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival and Louisville’s Forecastle, LCD Soundsystem has announced they’ll be continuing the party, extending their assemblage of U.S. tour dates this fall.

The band’s added five new dates to their extensive world tour in support of their follow-up record to 2010’s This Is Happening, titled American Dream. The band’s new dates come with a second show in both D.C. and Detroit, and now a Nashville date.

Following the band’s public breakup in 2010 and eventual reunion two years later, the upcoming tour is sure to be a celebratory round, delivering the band’s American Dream to the masses. American Dream is out September 1 on Columbia/DFA.
