RL Grime hints at future collaboration with Flume

With his biggest ever tour Down Under on the horizon, trap master RL Grime sat down with Australian radio station Triple J for an exclusive interview. As a long time pal of RL Grime and an electronic music superstar in his own right, it’s no surprise that Flume came up of as a topic of conversation. Speaking about a possible collaboration in the future, RL Grime had this to say about the two joining forces:

“I’ve been good friends with him for a long time, four, five years now. I hope we do something together soon. He just moved to L.A. and we’ve been chatting a bunch about working together, so hopefully.”

Stylistically there is no doubt that these two heavyweights would be a dynamic duo. If RL Grime’s recently-released mashup of his own “Aurora” with Flume’s “Never Be Like You” is any indication, there is no doubt these two could straight up change the game by jumping into the lab together. Bass fiends and trap heads around the world will be waiting with bated breath for the possibility of this dream becoming a reality.

Prepare for the collaboration’s hopeful emergence with RL Grime’s recent mashup of “Aurora” and “Never Be Like You.”
