Shaun Frank flips his production style ‘Upside Down’ in new single
Shaun Frank has turned his aesthetic “Upside Down” in a track of the same title release out via Ultra Music.
“Upside Down” is a welcome addition to the Canadian producer’s already impressive library of productions, boasting collaborations with DVBBS, KSHMR, and Oliver Heldens. It’s also prudent to remember that Frank co-wrote one of The Chainsmokers‘ massive 2016 hit, “Closer.”
With a shining track record, Frank’s latest single is unsurprisingly poised to resonate with dance music fans everywhere. A delightful alteration in direction for Frank, “Upside Down” explores a more rhythmic, verse like vocal style that persists for the duration of the song. Frank’s style typically involves a strong lead female vocal whose contributions are strengthened by the given track’s drop. A more minimalistic release in terms of the drop engineered by Frank therein, the shift in style does not sacrifice any of its youth, surfacing as a vibrant new tune.
