Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival Announces 10th Installment

Since its inception in 2008, the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival (BEMF) has become one of the most intriguing and innovative events in the world of independent music. Spanning over three days from October 12-14, 2017, BEMF will continue its already storied tradition of bringing together some of the world’s most cutting edge musical tastemakers in one of the world’s boldest and most fertile areas for innovation and music.  The plethora of events and features will be hosted by multiple traditional and non-traditional venues integrated within Brooklyn’s vibrant local community. BEMF is unlike any other music festival, striving to emphasize the creative culture of electronic music’s constantly transforming underground.

Never one to play it safe, BEMF is renowned for taking risks and for consistently working with partners also on the vanguard. By bringing together a diverse collection of emerging artists and iconic veterans, BEMF continues to push the envelope in unique sounds and production. This year’s programming includes. Bicep (live), an Ostgut Ton stage, Green Velvet’s Relief Records showcase, Pete Tong, Gorgon City’s Kingdom stage, a Kompakt curated stage, The Long Count Cycle, Leon Vynehall, Justin Martin, and Low End Theory. In addition to club events and live shows, the festival will also include industry panels presented by Noisey and THUMP, and a record fair presented by Other Music.

BEMF is not simply an event to go and check out dope music. This festival seeks to cultivate a well-informed and engaged international community of music lovers and industry affiliates. To show its appreciation for the true supporters, there are a very limited number of festival passes currently available at a deeply reduced price.
