Adam Beyer’s Drumcode has arguably built itself into the world’s foremost bastion of techno. The Swedish imprint has developed an uncanny consistency, highlighted by the strength of its releases week in and week out.

Continuing the trend, Drumcode has returned with a brand new edition of A-Sides, the label’s recurring compilation series which highlights the imprint’s impressive cast of talent.

One of those artists is Pig&Dan: the Spanish duo and label bosses behind ELEVATE. Over the past few years, Pig&Dan have proven one of Drumcode’s most formidable assets with acclaimed releases like their Mexico EP and various collaborations with Adam Beyer himself.

Pig&Dan’s contribution to A-Sides Volume 6 is “La Bruja,” a pummeling melodic techno number highlighted by its sizzling topline and ripping low-end. It’s an apt representation of the Spanish duo’s appeal, highlighting both their unique melodic tendencies as well as their uncanny knack for peak-time arrangements.
