Snails announces debut full length ‘The Shell,’ promotional tour dates and heads into the light on first single
So goes the tagline of the slimy bass trail Snails leaves his fans pursuing. The Canadian DJ and producer began slithering into the scene three years or so ago when he released his brooding, ear-catching trap cut “Slugz.” Now, three years after his rise to fame and slew of menacing releases, Snails has announced his highly-anticipated debut LP which he’s dubbed The Shell.
Already revealing his lead single off the record “Into The Light,” a formidable, dirty cut diving deeper into U.K. grit than this slugs ever done before, he hints at an unparalleled project ahead. Sarah Hudson, who’s worked with artists like Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, provides powerful vocals very much equivalent to the track’s intensity.
Snails’ debut LP announcement marks a definite turning point for the artist, one that will most definitely showcase his growth and unique sound design, all with an equally eccentric deliverance.
Snails’ new album announcement also comes equipped with the support of a full tour with more dates to be announced down the road. His first custom production set up is set to make its debut in Seattle, WA., Nov. 17. The tour also includes his very own one-day festival dubbed Sluggtopia at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, with support from NGHTMRE, JOYRYDE, and more.
