VenessaMichaels flips the switch on fresh remix EP

The rise of VenessaMichaelsls has been incredibly good for electronic dance music’s unrefutable glass ceiling. Back with a fresh EP of remixes true to her beat-savvy persuasion, this late Summer release adds a spring in the step of an artist already taking North America’s love for urban refixes to a new level. Bringing the concept to life courtesy of an open mix format, her high octane remakes bring Blu Cantrell, Ugly God, Sean Paul and Pretty Ricky slide seamlessly together, spotlighting the producer’s aptitude in bringing cuts both old and new into her musical remit. The downloadable package comes armed with some additional cuts from peer and Girl Trapz commander Benzi, but it’s VenessaMichaels’s own formidable contributions that really stand the heat here.
