Dada Life’s Olle announces he will stop touring, plans to stay in studio

Early in 2016, worldwide superstar Avicii made the decision to publicly announce he would cease touring after the year’s end. In a heartfelt letter to his fans, the artist explained the struggle he and others encounter whilst touring. Of course, now Avicii has returned with a new album, his future of touring remains uncertain. After the monumental artist’s retirement from touring, a multitude of other acts in dance music have since begun touring as solo acts, as touring’s affected group’s dynamics and well being. Now it appears the Dada Life duo will also be making major changes to its live shows.

While the two have long been iconic, the touring life has been enough for the group’s half, Olle. Early this afternoon via Facebook Olle announced he’ll be staying off the road as he’s beginning to see the effects of touring on his well being. Notably, Olle also fought and beat a cancer scare back in 2014 but he assured fans this was unrelated to his current issues. Dada Life will continue its shows and will see Stefan performing solo while the duo will continue producing together. Olle also assures fans the Rules of Dada will continue to spread throughout the land.
