The Killers – The Man (Duke Dumont Remix)
It’s been only a few days since The Killers released their fifth studio album, Wonderful Wonderful. Already, though, there’s a surprising standout track at the end of the 13-song deluxe collection.
Duke Dumont has done a remix for the album: a funky, retro take on “The Man.” Playing up the single’s grungy guitar riffs and Brandon Flowers’ recognizable vocals, Dumont molds his rework into a vintage, disco-influenced masterpiece. With a hollowed-out dance beat, Dumont flips “The Man” into a remix that’s both innovative and nostalgia-inducing.
It’s been five years since The Killers released an album, but with Duke Dumont on the lead-out, it’s a surefire hit.
