Radiohead’s new version of ‘Bloom’ with Hans Zimmer is here and it’s beautiful: LISTEN
Radiohead and Hans Zimmer‘s long-awaited collaboration has arrived. The two have reworked Radiohead’s formative track “Bloom” off the band’s King of Limb LP for the BBC flagship nature documentary series “Blue Planet II” — debuted on BBC’s Radio Six.
The new version is retitled as “ocean (bloom),” with Thom Yorke paired alongside BBC’s Concert Orchestra for the prequel. Yorke even went on to describe his sentiments of the track with BBC, “Bloom was inspired by the original Blue Planet series, so it’s great to be able to come full circle with the song and reimagine it for this incredible landmark’s sequel.”
