Skrillex’s collaboration with Damian Marley and Ty Dolla $ign is here

Skrillex fans were excited to hear that producer was reuniting with “Make it Bun Dem” collaborator Damian Marley four years after that track’s release. The new collaboration is finally here, with Ty Dolla $ign also brought into the fold to contribute on “So Am I” — the production is slated for Ty Dolla $ign’s new album Beach House 3.

The track has elements of reggae and is more pop leaning than past tracks that Skrillex has produced — though in line with his recent output. The drop, mixed with Marley and Ty Dolla $ign’s vocals, create an incredibly catchy tune that is the perfect song to close out the summer with its happy vibes. Skrillex and Damian Marley’s last collaboration went Gold, and after listening to this subsequent collaboration, we wouldn’t be surprised if “So Am I” achieved the same success.
