Time machines might only be the stuff of futuristic movies, but Spotify‘s new feature is blissfully real, and as close to the musical past as one can get — for now.

Dubbed “Your Time Capsule,” the function, based on the user’s age, collects the music that provided the soundtrack to one’s youth, crafting a playlist sure to take any listener back to their awkward teenage years, fumbling twenties, and so on.

Your Time Capsule determines a Spotify listener’s age from the date of birth imputed by the user when originally registering for a Spotify account. The feature will create a distinct playlist for users across ages, ranging from 16 to 85.

Your Time Capsule is somewhat of a personalized extension of its massively successful, decade-based “All Out” playlists that organize hits by the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. The All Out compilations have gathered more than 1.2 million followers each month since their launch, evidence that streamers indulge trips down musical memory lane pretty frequently.
