Black Coffee brought his Ibiza season to a close this weekend with a final performance and one last Beats 1 broadcast. The Black Coffee Season 1 finale saw the South African DJ/producer pulling out all the stops, calling upon Da Capo and Black Motion for guests mixes before taking the reins on a grand finale of his own Ibiza 17 Appreciation Mix.
The hour-long affair jam packs the DJ’s most effective hits and is self-described as a melting pot of house music. Originally airing on Beats 1, Black Coffee’s Ibiza 17 Appreciation Mix is now available to stream on Apple Music.
Notable selections include Jimi Jules’s take on “Take Words In Return” and Manoo’s version of “Amahloni” among others. Black Coffee’s Beats 1 farewell bid is as enjoyable in its compilation form as it is its continuous journey.
