Illenium makes hotly anticipated Diplo and Friends debut
Diplo‘s prestigious BBC Radio 1 Xtra radio show, Diplo and Friends, has been graced by a number of prestigious DJs over the years, including mixes by Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Avicii, and RL Grime, to name a few.
The latest addition to this celebrated group of producers is popular future bass maestro Illenium, fresh off the release and subsequent success of his sophomore album Awake. The mix itself adheres to Illenium’s emotional, melodic style, and comprises majorly of future bass and soothing house music. Starting off with his own single, “Beautiful Creatures,” Illenium’s mix is driven forward by Flume, ODESZA, and Porter Robinson, and, of course, a healthy helping of his original works.
