Just A Gent consistently pushes the electronic music envelope, bringing his swanky style to each new creation he composes.
For his latest, aptly titled “Future Bass Is Dead,” Just A Gent strays away from the constraints of genres. With an inviting, electro-infused guitar melody, the Australian producer proves well-executed songs don’t need to be complicated. Throughout the track, he switches up the style multiple times, interspersing velvety piano breaks and mellow, bouncing synths. “Future Bass Is Dead” beautifully defies the limitations of categorization, putting the track in a league of its own.
The track is out on bitbird‘s latest compilation, Gouldian Finch #02. “Future Bass Is Dead” is Just A Gent’s second release this week — the first being “Hold” featuring Thief.
