Kasbo releases dazzling new indietronica single ‘Bleed It Out’

In 2015, Kasbo played his first shows to massive, sold-out crowds in support of ODESZA’s In Return world tour. Quickly thereafter, the Swedish producer began cementing himself as one of electronic music’s most formidable up-and-comers. For his latest single — “Bleed It Out,” out now via ODESZA’s Foreign Family Collective — the Swedish producer has joined up with vocalist Nea for a track that’s every bit as fun and forward-thinking as it is grounded in conventional form.

The genre-defying track calls upon future bass, indie-dance, and hip-hop/R&B elements to construct an evocative soundscape that pushes the boundaries of musical convention. Dazzling, aloof, and remarkably crisp, the track is held together by airy atmospheres and raw, uplifting energy. Kasbo’s inspired sound has the rare ability to move from sparkling synth-laden sequences to heavily bass-driven landscapes in the blink of an eye.

The young producer will also be joining San Holo, Slow Magic, and ODESZA on their respective fall/winter tours.
