Pioneer DJ release Bluetooth speakers for DJing & producing
Perpetually at the forefront of new sound technology, Pioneer DJ have launched a new pair of wireless speakers designed specifically for DJing and producing.
Titled the DM-40BT, the four-inch speakers use Pioneer DJ’s Groove Technology so as to alleviate the issue of frequency smearing, relying on DECO convex diffusers to encourage the spreading of higher frequencies, resulting in a fuller overall sound. The DM-40BT are compatible with any Bluetooth device, or may be physically connected via the phono and mini-jack inputs at the speakers’ rear area.
Despite Bluetooth audio’s propensity to reduce sound quality, Pioneer DJ remediate such quality reduction via aptX codecs that boast low-latency and higher quality. The DM-40BT will sell for approximately $231.
