Tiësto, Kaskade, Zedd, & more to headline Vegas benefit show at OMNIA Nightclub
More than a week after it occurred, the US is still reeling from the horrific shooting that occurred in Las Vegas October 1 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas, leaving 58 dead and more than 500 injured — making it the deadliest mass shooting in the country’s history.
In response, the Hakkasan Group has decided to use its highly-esteemed roster of resident DJs, to organize its own a benefit concert. In a statement, Hakkasan Group CEO Nick McCabe said:
“With this event we hope that our company, partners and friends can not only give back to the community, but also show that we’re united, and stand together in the face of this tragedy.”
Tiësto, Zedd, Kaskade, Steve Aoki, Lil Jon and NGHTMRE are set to hit the decks at Hakkasan’s OMNIA nightclub in Las Vegas on November 7th. Tiësto, who has already donated $200,000 to the cause, added:
“It’s an incredible city filled with great people and after last week’s tragedy, I immediately wanted to help in supporting the victims, their families, and the amazing first responders. In addition to direct donations that I have pledged, it was also extremely important to me that I perform to raise as much as possible.”
GA tickets are starting at $30 and VIP table reservations will be available. All proceeds will be given to the Las Vegas Victims Fund via the Direct Impact Fund, a non-profit that won’t take any fees or operating costs from the funds raised.
