Warp the ‘Stranger Things’ theme with this online synth site
As excitement escalates for the release of season two of Stranger Things in just a few weeks, one fan has taken his or her enthusiasm to the next level.
Someone has created a website called Synthier Things that only plays the Netflix show’s arpeggiated theme, but it allows for the site visitor to warp the synths to their heart’s content. Users can experiment with the oscillator, frequency, and amp envelope to create their own take on the iconic theme song by S U R V I V E.
Under the “how does it work?” section of the site, the creator explained why the website was created.
“[The site is] a simple web audio synthesizer that can only play arpeggios from the Stranger Things theme, because let’s be honest, those are the best part of the theme song anyways.”
Can’t say we disagree.
