Watch The Chainsmokers prank customers at a Tommy Hilfiger Store
Fifth Avenue Tommy Hilfiger shoppers had an interesting customer service experience when none other than The Chainsmokers recently worked the floor at the shop.
The duo, who are the faces of Hilfiger’s TommyXTheChainsmokers fall campaign, pulled the stunt with Instagram stars @FuckJerry and @Krispyshorts, who fed the producers directions on what to say to customers via an earpiece. The Chainsmokers went largely unrecognized throughout the video, despite their faces adorning the advertisements around the shop, and, among other shenanigans, suggested patrons leave with items unpaid for and offering refunds in the form of tickets to their shows. As to whether that is an equal and fair exchange is up to the eye of the beholder.
