Cashmere Cat’s love for Australia inspires new mix
On most every front, Cashmere Cat has had a standout 2017. The enigmatic producer released his debut album, 9, that marked a pronounced move into an intriguing experimental style — to say nothing of his production credits on some of the biggest hits for other artists.
The Norway native isn’t slowing down, however, as he’s released a new, near hour-long mix inspired by his love for the island continent of Australia. Originally broadcast on Australia’s Triple J radio station, the mix features tracks from the likes of Four Tet, Machinedrum, frequent collaborator Sinjin Hawke, and, of course, Cashmere Cat himself.
