Chromeo announce new album, ‘Head Over Heels’ [UPDATED]
Synth-pop masters Chromeo have been laboring away in the studio in preparation for their next full-length album. Their last LP was White Women, released more than three years ago. Musically, however, the Montreal-based duo have been relatively quiet beyond touring and releasing a huge remix of Lorde‘s “Green Light” earlier this year.
You can’t rush art in the hands of Dave 1 and P-Thugg, it seems, for Chromeo have now officially announced their next full-length album, entitled Head Over Heels, via a hilariously eccentric new trailer released on YouTube. The minute-long clip (posted below) teases the first single off their forthcoming LP. Indeed, all good things electro-funk come to those who wait.
UPDATE: The Chromeo camp have just sent out a mysterious gift to industry insiders. The gift, it seems, is a cryptic reference to the lyric’s of their first single, out November 7. Watch the short video (posted above) to decipher its meaning.
