Crankdat unveils remix of Post Malone’s ‘Rockstar’
Given Post Malone’s ubiquitousness at the top of the charts, it’s no surprise he’s received numerous remixes. With Slander‘s recent rework of “I Fall Apart” blazing a trail, Crankdat is the latest producer to unveil his take on the the crooner’s originals.
The producer gave the “Re-Crank” treatment to Malone’s hit “Rockstar.” While the original maintains a melancholy, loose vibe throughout, Crankdat opts to veer his remix into the ominous. A vibrant drop, with a soaring lead and thundering percussion fills, ups the energy while freshening the affair up into a work all its own.
