Festival fan creates line of dance music culture themed Pokémon Cards
Borrowing the aesthetic of Pokémon trading cards, creative Brenton Norton has created a series of dance music edition Pokémon-style trading cards.
The cards denote different levels, ranging from Basic to Stage 2 status. A stack intended to capture dance music culture in card form, the trading cards feature a range of DJs, electronic festivals, and festival archetypes, including Bassnectar as a Stage 1 card, Okeechobee Music Festival as a Basic card, and PotHead as a Stage 2 card.
While the cards are not currently available for purchase, rendering their ability to dethrone ‘kandi’ as the universal festival trading currency ineffectual for now, the cards are impeccably made.
