Joris Voorn revisits Dark Science alias on divine new track preview for ‘Prophecy’

Dutch artist Joris Voorn is indisputably one of the supreme connectors of authentic house and techno in the scene. More than ten years ago, he delved into a euphoria-tinged, vivacious alter ego known as Dark Science that struck its listeners in its contrast to his normal output and displayed a supreme knack for unabashed buoyant energy.

At last, Voorn has returned to the Dark Science moniker in a track that is the antithesis to its supposed guise name.

“Prophecy” is a stark contrast from Voorn’s present work and glacial releases. The track is an infectious deliverance, complete with light stabs and enveloping atmospheric pads.

Voorn’s Dark Science return is undeniably unmissable, for the new tune preview is ridden with hands-in-the-air melodies, climatic pads, and plenty of palpable energy in the just two-minute preview.

For contrast, Dark Science’s return comes complete with a side two remixed by the acclaimed house staunch Josh Butler, who offers a look into an alternative club-inclined venture. Butler’s remix is complete with swirling percussiveness, and considerably deeper tech stabs, which compliments the original indubitably.
