Premiere: Kaiserdisco – Hydra

Kaiserdisco are at yet another turning point in their career. A powerful burst of creativity washing over the German duo has inevitably led to the renaissance of their craft in the form of their debut album, Another Dimension. The eleven-piece project will release on Tronic come November 13, and will act as a platform that launches the next level of their career within the dark realms of techno.

“Hydra” sets Another Dimension into hyperdrive as the LP’s fourth track. Where preceding dancefloor cuts “Eris” and “Varuna” serve as more introspective, melodic openers, “Hydra” presents a considerably more aggressive atmosphere where raunchy kicks battle an explosion of futuristic synthesizers that ultimately feels like a cunning extra-celestial battle. It represents precisely the direction that Kaiserdisco seek with the album — raw, unadulterated techno that hails back to the pair’s roots while adding a contemporary edge.
