DJ Snake – A Different Way ft Lauv (Henry Fong remix)

Henry Fong delivers an ingenious rework of DJ Snake’s Lauv feature, “A Different Way,” injecting trap and future bass flavors into the original dance track, placing a harder spin on the melodic number.

Fong plays with the song’s arrangement, placing the vocal of the single’s drop in a loop at the remix’s intro. Fong cuts Lauv’s part to favor the chorus, situating only the chorus at the intro, thereby allowing Fong to more swiftly advance to his take’s drop: a descent that toes moombahton territory. Never a stranger to creativity in the remix realm, Fong crafts a re-imagination distinct from all other twists on the original track.
