Gravez announces new album with new single, ‘Drip’
Known for his impressive drum pad cadence, an uncompromising knack for melody, and a surprising array of samples, the rising producer Gravez‘s music sits outside the working territory of labels and genres. For at just 23-years-old, Atlanta-based producer Christian “Gravez” Justice encapsulates a noir-tinged and arcade-style instrumental hip-hop that places his musical knowledge at the forefront. Gravez draws from the work of his contemporaries in a candidly creative manner.
Having worked in his unique sonic realm for some time now the artist has already garnered a striking array of collaborations and official remixes for acts like RL Grime, Ta-ku, Ekali, Bryson Tiller, GoldLink, and more.
Now, with more than 40 million streams, a Nike commercial score, and having headlined world tours, Gravez has returned with a new single, “Drip.” Surely sopping in his stylistic points of inspiration, from artists like Ta-ku and GoldLink and even XXYYXX, Gravez impresses in just over two minutes on the short new track with an underlying bass-injection that begs to allow for a sultry further deliverance soon. Luckily, the track’s SoundCloud description says, “ALBUM ON THE WAY.”
