Iceland’s Secret Solstice unveils ‘Into The Glacier’ and ‘The Lava Tunnel’ performances will continue in 2018

Beginning on Iceland’s midnight summer, an evening where the sun sets just after midnight and rises again just before three in the morning, attendees of Iceland’s Secret Solstice will have the opportunity to enter both a glacial and lava tunnel in the festivals fifth edition, as they have been able in years past. Held during the 96 hours of sunlight in Reykjavik from June 21–24, 2018 Iceland’s Secret Solstice promises a striking array of talent in one of the hottest travel destinations of present times.

Those who attend can expect an impressive array of artistry in the 2018 edition. While the lineup has yet to be announced, artists like Dubfire, The Black Madonna, Die Antwoord, Jamie Jones, Radiohead, and Wu-Tang Clan have performed in the past.

Using the country’s stunning natural landmarks as its home, Secret Solstice is surely a distinct destination catering to both music and nature lovers alike.

The festival will take place in both Europe’s second largest glacier, Langjökull, as well as a 5,200-year-old Lava Tunnel offering a distinctly intimate performance for those who obtain the coveted passes.

More information and the festival’s first phase of artists will be coming soon. Visit here for more details.
