Premiere: Anabel Englund, Matt Ossentjuk, Human Life & Mont Blvck – Rising (wAFF Remix)

One of LA’s most notorious party crews, Gari Safari, has officially doubled down and started their own label. Comprised of Anabel Englund, Matt Ossentjuk, Human Life and Mont Blvck, the Gari Safari crew have come to embody the raw, sultry house and techno of LA’s thriving underground.

The group’s first collective single, and first label offering, “Rising,” embodies the style, featuring an infectious hook from the cohort’s female lead, Anabel Englund.

“Gari is about breaking down the walls that separate music into different genres and scenes. It’s about firming that special bond and vibe with our unique followers to create something special.”

For their inaugural label release, the crew have rounded up a high profile set of remixes, including a heavier take from esteemed techno producer waFF, who’s become a notable figure on imprints like Drumcode, Moon Harbour, and Hot Creations. The UK stalwart strips down the production, creating a hypnotic loop out of Englund’s hook, and crafting a darker warehouse-savvy arrangement.
