Arturia to release MiniBrute 2S synth with sequencer
Arturia will soon release the MiniBrute 2S, an updated version of the the French digital audio software company’s MiniBrute 2 synthesizer.
The 2S bears the same design as Arturia’s original Minibrute synthesizer, offering users two oscillators, a Steiner Parker filter, a waveform mixer with a 48-point patch bay, two LFOs, and a Brute Factor feedback circuit.
The 2S, however, differs from the first Minibrute in its addition of performance pads and a sequencer — rather than the keybed of the Minibrute 2. Arturia’s 2S sequencer expands the range of available sequence types, including LFO, envelope, gate, and control voltage and pitch in its vast array of sequence functions. Each sequence is capable of logging its own respective length.
The Minibrute 2S will be available for purchase in March, priced at $649.
