Good Morning Mix: The Stickmen go deep in 1-hour Mix for Kiss FM
The Stickmen are an interesting pair to keep an eye on this year. Just getting their start in the summer of 2016, the duo has been curating bootlegs and mashups that have caught the eye of over 60K listeners on SoundCloud and various UK radio stations.
Their live show is described as a “visual feast” in that they not only wear masks and neon light-up hoodies, but also add in a live element by utilizing electronic drum pads and samplers.
This hour long mix they did for the Kiss Fresh Mixtape series on Kiss FM shows just how deep the duo’s sounds go. Their steel-drum edit of Soulja Boy’s “Crank Dat” on the intro is an immediate ear grabber.
Swinging between tech house and house party vibes the duo play some of their own mashups, remixes of cult classics, and other tracks by renowned dance acts. This mix is perfect for any setting in need of an energy boost.
