Rusko announces first post-cancer performance at Wobbleland, releases new single
After being diagnosed with stomach cancer last spring, famed UK producer Rusko pulled out of several scheduled performances to seek treatment. At the end of April 2017, he was forced to cancel his shows in Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Columbus, and Buffalo due to “an unforeseen medical emergency,” which led to the gastric lymphoma diagnosis.
After taking time off and focusing on treatment, the 33-year-old producer announced in late October that he’s cancer-free and would be returning to performing and producing. His first post-cancer performance will be California’s Wobbleland, set to take place at the end of February in San Francisco. Check out the lineup here, and get tickets here.
Rusko also paired his Wobbleland announcement with a new single, “Look Out!” The track marks his return to releasing music with funky horns and a swinging jazzy vibe, juxtaposed with heavy bass wobbles.
