Seth Troxler to release commemorative compilation, ‘This Is Then’
The Spring season will see a new Seth Troxler release come to fruition.
Entitled This Is Then, Troxler’s latest will be a compilation that commemorates Troxler’s decade as a European resident — originally hailing from Kalamazoo, Michigan, the producer moved to Detroit as a teenager, and eventually, to Berlin, where he would play in a variety of nightclubs including Panorama Bar and Watergate.
“This is a review of my work to date thus far,” Troxler says of This Is Then. “It’s really a compilation of highlights and a mark of ten years in Europe. I’m proud of everything that has happened so far but am now moving into a new chapter, and [am] looking to change things up.” The reflective release will be comprised mostly of Troxler’s own productions, but will welcome guest cameos and remixes.
Troxler will play a free show in celebration of This Is Then at Warsaw’s house focused venue, Smolna. Admission to the show will be first-come-first-served.
