Wade unveils snapping RAVEolution EP
Solardo‘s SOLA record label continues to unearth and mentor the hottest tech house up-and-comers. The label has released the likes of Will Clarke, Prok & Fitch, Camelphat, Nathan Barato and, of course, Solardo themselves, to name only a few.
Now, Wade has released a snapping EP to the label titled RAVEolution. The EP’s eponymous opening track — debuted by Danny Howard on BBC Radio 1 — sees the young producer amalgamate crunching drum patterns with a bevy of below the belt bass lines. The second track ,”Blow Ya Faces Off,” embodies a similar body of work but injects a welcome bit of comedy via sampling.
The project isn’t exactly headphone music or easy listening, but its forthright in its intention to exist as a thunderous club tune, which is what Solardo and company have come to do best. Wade’s newest EP is sure to hit the libraries of nearly every tech house stalwart heading into festival season.
