ATLiens release euphonious new single ahead of their ‘Invasion’ EP

ATLiens have been on the rise over the past couple of years with seismic collaborations with Bassnectar and Jameston Thieves, to go with with support from the likes of Skrillex, RL Grime, and Diplo. Fresh off their Abduction World Tour late last year, the enigmatic masked duo have now unleashed their latest single while in the thick of a seven date US Tour.

The faceless production duo from, unsurprisingly, Atlanta enlisted the beautiful vocals of LA-based singer/songwriter, Sara Skinner, for a surprising new single that sits outside of their heavy bass/break beat sound. Laced with a thunderous trap-tinged drop and a gritty and brooding build, “Interstellar” utilizes gruff breakdowns and the kind of cosmic synths that one would expect of the track’s title. “Interstellar” is the perfect blend of Skinner’s euphonious voice and ATLiens’ uncompromising, minimalistic yet powerful signature bass.

The track arrived ahead of the eagerly-anticipated release of their Invasion EP, out February 23, 2018.
