Exclusive: Rising Sam von Horn puts his edit on Nuyorican Soul & George Benson’s ‘You Can Do It’ (Baby)

Sam von Horn’s steeping in the electronic music scene dates back to when he was just 13. Having discovered Aphex Twin in his youth, seen Daft Punk on their Alive 2007 tour, and spent his teenage nights sneaking into shows in LA’s underground rave scene, the experimental impact of music on von Horn is indubitable.

He’s toured festivals and clubs around the US with the Justin Jay Fantastic Voyage crew, of which he’s been a part since its inception. Von Horn’s now setting sail out on his own and will be charting some unprecedented waters. He’s set to release an edits EP and is even crafting an experimental live show.

Considering that von Horn’s been with the Fantastic Voyage since it’s inception, it should come as no surprise that his musical education has allocated a versatile virtuoso. Now, von Horn’s shared an exclusive track off his forthcoming Edits EP. His Nuyorican Soul & George Benson’s “You Can Do It (Baby)” rework is most definitely a smooth call to arms for the non-believers, though it’s also a testament to his own fantastic voyage that’s simply just begun.

Edits is out February 16 via Fantastic Voyage.
