Ghasper releases refreshing EP, ‘Mima’
Ghasper has been making waves in the global future bass sphere over the last few years. The Las Vegas-based DJ’s first self-released track, “Forgive Me,” was a tremendous success, reaching a No. 4 spot in Spotify‘s US Viral Charts, and his success has only continued to grow. His newest EP with the legendary Babygrande Records, Mima, is a forthright amalgamation of contemporary and old tracks.
The project steeps into well-paved territory through the lens of future bass, but through its unique stylistic touchstones, steers clear of a soundscape mired in replication. The Mima EP isn’t a full-conceived album, but as an EP it serves as a refreshing tangent in an oversaturated genre. The EP is out now, available here.
