Three legends have merged into one powerhouse that they’ve appropriately dubbed, ‘3D.’

Comprised of Darren Emerson, Dave Seaman, and Danny Howells — each of which are innovators and leaders in their own right — the new group is primed to showcase an immaculate melding of all three of their distinctive styles. Based off the mix they’ve just provided Dancing Astronaut, their followers are in for some aural treats as they set forth on an expansive tour in March.

Sixty minutes fly by as 3D immediately trap the mind in a hypnotic melange of intricate drum patterns and grooving basslines. It moves through jarring twists and turns, journeying across soundscapes that range from classically-inclined, to smooth progressive, to modern and techy. Of course, one would expect a mix of this caliber when the people involved in its craft are well-versed in the art of controlling a dancefloor.
