Daniel Spool’s cutting his teeth in the Bay Area bass circuit. Known musically as Sneek, Spool’s just released a euphoric bass track titled “Weightless.”
Though Sneek has been building his reputation on maximalism in the melodic bass realm and has even been touring alongside Getter, “Weightless” sees Sneek take a sharp turn towards a more stripped-down songwriting structure. Like clouds clearing after a storm, “Weightless” finds Sneek letting go, allowing his creativity to run rampant. As the tide continues to shift in dance music, Sneek’s versatility will likely continue to prove that he’ll be steering his own course.
