William Black has linked up with singer AMIDY for the release of his newest single “Daydreamer”.

The track at hand is a standard ballad that serves as another pointed example of the producer’s ability to tap into the vein of contemporary sonic trends in the future bass space.

“Daydreamer” is a departure from Black’s relatively coherent recent releases with it’s prolonged instrumental intro. AMIDY’s melancholy vocals are layered atop gentle guitar fretwork and sweeping ambient synth melodies. The result is a delicious track that falls somewhere in between Dashboard Confessional and Illenium.
