The third segment in Ultra Music Festival’s “20 Years of Ultra” documentary series has arrived just in time for March, and just after phase two of the event’s massive lineup.

As the days leading up to Ultra’s 20th birthday bash March 23-25 continue to dwindle, episode three of “20 Years of Ultra” spotlights the growth and expansion not only of Ultra Music Festival as an electronic enterprise, but of dance music as a genre, and its accompanying social scene.

The third installment in the documentary series examines Ultra as a major hub of electronic activity in dance music’s social scene, while tracing the rise of social media platforms, and their impact on the event’s ascension to mega festival status. A historically reflective account of Ultra’s progression, episode three provides a retrospective context for the new memories that will be made in Miami come March.
