Tiësto continues to impress with second single off of forthcoming EP

After premiering five new IDs during his Ultra Music Festival Set, Tiësto announced that he will be dropping a new EP on the Friday following the close of the festival. Yesterday, he dropped the first single off of the EP titled “Dawnbreaker.” The collaboration with Matisse and Sadko demonstrated a new direction for the producer, whose previous single streak was full of big room and commercial house. He has now dropped the second single off of the forthcoming EP, which is “Coming Home” with Mesto.

“Coming Home” is an upbeat track that blends vocal accents with big room chords. It is reminiscent of the producer’s style in previous album Red Lights in that the big room chords are manufactured for both radio and club play. This is in contrast to recent singles that have been more fitting for club play. The track certainly continues to demonstrate the mass appeal this new EP will have given it is combining elements of his production style from the early 2000s all of the way to taking elements of his more recent music.
