Zedd gives tour of his $16 million Beverly Hills home [Watch]

The quality of a Zedd production would suggest that the “Stay” hit-maker sleeps in the studio. Yet as the Grammy Award-winning artist’s recent interview with Architectural Digest affirms, this, of course, is not the case.

The collaboration between Zedd and the magazine has resulted in a near 10-minute video tour of the artist’s 9,400-square-foot Beverly Hills residence, led by none other than Zedd himself. The video offers fans a glimpse of the many facets of Zedd’s private domain: his predilection for a modern aesthetic, symmetry in design, and the involvement of natural, outdoorsy elements in his home’s interior.

Unlike many celebrities, Zedd doesn’t use an interior designer, but rather relies on his own abilities. “I follow a bunch of architecture sites [that] I get inspiration from,” Zedd notes. “I have really specific taste and I’m okay with it taking awhile and therefore being more personal and [characterized by] stuff I actually like.”

Zedd’s preference for hand selected items reflective of his own decorative taste is similarly reflected in the art pieces that bedeck the walls of the property, all of which have been produced by Zedd’s creative friends. “Every piece of art [is] from somebody I know, nothing [is] random, so I’m trying to keep that,” Zedd explains. “The value is whatever it’s worth to me — I just want to look at art and be happy, so I’m not an art collector in the traditional sense.”

With a house like Zedd’s, who wouldn’t want to ‘Stay the Night’?
