Instupendo debuts dreamy sophomore EP, ‘Faces I Know’
Over the past two years, few artists have created such organic, persistent buzz as Philadelphia’s Instupendo. The producer emerged on Soundcloud with a sound all his own, and has since refined it into an intriguing, mellifluous concoction that continues to gain fans and increase his exposure.
Following a number of remixes for the likes of Cosmo’s Midnight and RAC, the producer turned his attention to originals, culminating in the release of sophomore EP, Faces I Know. Lead by the release of singles “Boy” and “Fleur,” the EP is completed with two more tracks, “Sunny” and “Clementine.”
Instupendo’s signature sound is on full display, though with notable new flourishes in production technique married to confident compositions. The producer’s ability to meld these new techniques within his utterly sound songwriting style is a mark of growth for the artist, and further justifies the hype that comes with each Instupendo release.
