Following the release of his acclaimed third full-length Ruinism and the follow-up The End Of Industry EP shortly thereafter, Lapalux‘s Stuart Howard announced an expansive worldwide tour. Now, Howard’s returned under his LPLX alias with what’s undoubtedly his most mesmerizing music to date.

This month Lapalux returns to the U.S. with his new live setup for his first North American tour since 2016, and judging by the experimental, swirling nature of “Damson,” Howard’s mixing will be nothing short of transitory. With “Damson” he moves further through the abstraction that Ruinism cultivated. As he delves into his loosest, and yet, most poised music to date, it’s clear LPLX’s reached the pinnacle of his unhinged production air, and that surely promises nothing but exciting developments in the time to come.
