Ableton’s summit Loop to make US debut
Ableton‘s officially moving their Loop summit stateside. The three-day event that consists of live performances, talks, and interactive workshops aimed at exchanging ideas at the very cutting edge of music, creativity, and technology previously took place in Berlin’s Funkhaus and is slated to make its West Coast debut in the sunny city of Los Angeles.
This year, Loop will see a similar production style to that of SXSW, in that the event will take place in a selection of neighboring LA venues. So far, confirmed locations include EastWest Studios — a legendary facility where the sound of popular music has been defined and reinvented many times over — and the Montalbán, a century-old theatre that’s now a community hub for aspiring artists.
Loop will take place November 9–11. While the speakers and events are still TBD, those interested can get access to more information as it becomes available here.
