Belgium-based, classically trained pianist and producer, Alex Lustig, has been making swift moves in music from working on trap beats for French Montana and OVO’s Baka Not Nice, to receiving credits from Young Thug and Machine Gun Kelly.
With so much under his belt, Lustig decided to take more time for himself and his original productions. By combining his experiences in hip-hop, influences from the club sounds of London and Paris, and his panic attack antidote, ambient music, he creates a unique sound and listening experience.
On his latest production, ‘The Morning,’ he teams up with the angelic Anjulie to create a fresh and powerful track that dazzles with high hats, delicately resonating pads and some of the coolest vocal chops in the form of a lead through the drops. Anjulie perfectly describes not wanting to say goodbye to someone you hold dear as Lustig strategically arranges the music behind her, to create a track that will also be hard to say goodbye to.
