Fortune appears to have favored Alok when it mattered most. The Brazilian DJ emerged unharmed from a plane crash that occurred upon takeoff at Serrinha airport in Juiz de Fora. The plane was supposed to transport the producer to Belem, where he was originally scheduled to perform the evening of May 20, a performance that has since been moved, given the accident.

‘We are all fine, thank God,’ Alok can be heard saying in the video surveying the aftermath of the crash, uploaded to Alok’s Instagram story. The video offers a frightful vision of an incident that could have gone far worse, but thankfully Alok did not retain any injuries.
